Issue With Forums Appearance

Hello, just began working on the framework for a new site design and I’d like to use your plugin. However there are some visual discrepancies from that of screenshot-6 in your plugin.

There are gaps of white space between the forum and the description divider as well as the latest activity divider between forums. Just wondering if there is some easy fix to this or if I will need to modify my CSS to find the answer.
