Issue with Free Shipping Settings for Low-Priced Orders in WooCommerce

From what you’ve described, you’ve set up free shipping in WooCommerce for orders over €65 in Belgium and €85 in the Netherlands. However, it seems customers are able to select free shipping on products as low as €7.25, which should not be eligible. For other products, like those priced at €10.50, the free shipping option is correctly disabled.

I checked this issue on your website and added the €7.25 item to the cart, but the free shipping option didn’t appear, as expected.

Could you let us know if there’s a specific way to replicate the issue on our end?

In the meantime, if you’re still experiencing this, please try clearing the shipping rate caches by going to WooCommerce > Status > Tools and clicking Clear transients (both “Expired transients” and “All transients”) to refresh any cached data.

Thank you for helping me with this issue.
On the video you sent I can see that the free shipping option is not availabe for ‘The Netherlands’ (for the prodcut of € 7,25), but it is available for Belgium.

When I recreate it, I get the same result as you.
Try switching between Belgium and The Netherlands and then you’ll see that for The Netherlands, it’s correct, but for Belgium, it’s not (free shipping option remains available).

Could you also share a screenshot of the shipping settings you’ve set for the specific products? You can find these settings by going to your site’s dashboard, navigating to Products → All Products, opening the product in the editor, and scrolling to the Shipping section.

To troubleshoot further, could you please try deleting the free shipping method for Belgium and then re-add it? If that doesn’t resolve the issue, please deactivate the cookie consent plugin, clear your site cache, and check if the issue is resolved.

If the problem persists, could you create a staging site and activate the default Storefront theme with only WooCommerce enabled? This will help us investigate further and provide you with the best assistance.

I have created a staging website: https://staging.woofit.be/ and the Storefront theme is enabled with only the woocommerce plugin active.
There were many ‘Storefront’ theme’s, so I hope I chose the right one.

   • Adding a higher-value product (above the threshold) made free shipping work again!
