• Is there a way to serve scaled images in the carousel on the homepage without making my product images look ridiculous when actually viewing the product. I’ve been trying to work this out for 3 days now and to no avail. Could someone help me implement this feature so that I can alter the size of an image in WordPress, giving it a new URL, then actually be able to apply that new image URL to the carousel? As things stand, the carousel is drastically reducing the load speed of my home page as it’s not using the correctly sized images. Even when they are compressed using smush and gzip plugins.

Basically, I want to be able to insert images that are 150×150 into the carousel without changing my product main images to 150×150 as well. As things stand, I do not see an option for this.

    Hello there,
First off, thanks for reaching out, would you please regenerate your images using https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/ and check if it will appropriate to you?
    Best regards

I did this but it didn’t work. However, I believe I have resolved the issue myself.

Go to your media folder in WordPress and click to edit an image. From there, if you look on the right-hand side, you have options to edit both the thumbnail and the main image, just the thumbnail, or just the main image.

Select the ‘thumbnail only’ and resize it appropriately to fit the same size requirements of the product carousel.

This appeared to work for me.
