Issue with Gateway IP Address Causing Access Problems
-
Dear Loginizer Team,
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to seek assistance regarding an issue I am facing with the gateway IP address within my network infrastructure.
The problem I am encountering is that all access attempts appear to be originating from the gateway IP address (172.16.0.1), causing restrictions on access and creating difficulties in distinguishing individual connections. As a result, when this IP address is blocked, it affects access for all users, including those who have not attempted any access breaches.
I am utilizing the Loginizer plugin to mitigate brute force attacks, but the configuration seems to cause an obstruction by identifying all connections through the gateway IP.
I am seeking guidance on how I can resolve this issue without disrupting legitimate user access. Is there a way to refine the configuration within the Loginizer plugin or implement additional measures to prevent network-wide access blocks when restricting the gateway IP address?
Your assistance in addressing this matter would be greatly appreciated. Please let me know if further details or system information is required to assist in troubleshooting this issue effectively.
Thank you for your time and support.
Sincerely,
