    Hello,
Google maps is not appearing on the page, instead an image with a button to agree. After pressing the button the issue still remains.
I noticed when i was logged in the map was visable and taught that it was a caching issue. I contacted WP-Rocket and they investigated the the issue.

    They wrote the following:
The issue is related to Complianz | GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent used along with WP Google Maps, and only happens before the cookies’ policy is accepted:

However i cannot display the google map on the page.

    Any suggestions

    Thanks

    Hello @ferdiax,

Can you disable caching on the page that contains this WP Google Maps element? It works as expected without caching, which you can try by using this link: No cache link

We hook into the GDPR setting of WP Google Maps itself, but this only works if the page caching for that specific page is off.

    Kind regards,
    Jarno

    Hello @jarnovos,

Thanks for your reply. It’s a bit of a bomer that you cant use caching in this situation. In my case it’s not an option to turn off the caching. So one of the plugins must go.

    Best regards

    Hi @ferdiax,

You could disable the integration with the WP Google Maps plugin/service under Complianz > Integrations, and leave their own GDPR function enabled to let WPGM handle this on it’s own.

In case you don’t use many features that are exclusive to the WPGM plugin: Complianz supports a variety of alternative Google Maps implementations that you could use instead.

I’ll mark this as resolved for now, feel free to reach out if you have any further questions.

    Kind regards,
    Jarno
