• Hello!

I have an issue and I can’t find a solution.
I need to add a particular grid layout, like this:

    Menu 1
    Voice 1
    Voice 2
    Voice 3

when you click on “Voice 1” you open a submenu (let’s call Menu 2) with “Voice A” – “Voice B” and “Voice C” with grids inside them.

I created separated Menu 1 and Menu 2 and I tried this options:

    – on Voice 1 of Menu 1, I added “Navigation Menu” widget in the grid and in the standard layout, but the layout of Menu 2 is not as expected (appears without style). I noticed the info “If you are trying to display Max Mega Menu here, use the ‘Max Mega Menu’ widget instead.”, but this didn’t helped… in the widget list of the Mega Menu panel I can’t find the ‘Max Mega Menu’ widget;

    – on Voice 1 of Menu 1, I added “Custom HTML” widget in the grid and in the standard layput, with Menu 2 shortcode inside, but the layout of Menu 2 shows problems.

Am I missing something? I really don’t know what to try.

    Thank you very much!

(in the url linked, “Menu 1” is “Vini”)

    Hi Simo,

Rather than using a widget to display your sub menu items in the grid layout, you can add them directly to the menu structure under Appearance > Menus. So your menu structure would look like this:

    Top Level Item 1
    – Sub Item
    – Sub Item
    Top Level Item 2
    – Sub Item
    – Sub Item

If you set the Sub Menu Display Mode to ‘Grid Layout’ on either of the top level items, you’ll see the Sub Items pre populated in the grid layout builder.

    Regards,
    Tom

    Hi Tom!

    Thank you for your reply!

The problem is that my structure should be like this:

Top Level Item 1 – on hover (or on click), appears Sub Item 1 and Sub Item 2, with this structure:
    – Sub Item 1 – on hover, appears a grid with:
    -Sub-sub grid 1 and
    -Sub-sub grid 2
    – Sub Item 2 – on hover, appears a grid with:
    -Sub-sub grid 1 and
    -Sub-sub grid 2
    Top Level Item 2
    Top Level Item 3

So the grid is also on the sub-sub menu and should be visible only on hover Sub item… How can I achieve this result?

    Hi Simo,

I think I am following. Do you maybe want a ‘hybrid’ menu that shows a flyout menu at the first level, then mega menus at a second level? If so, that is not possible right now. Please check the demo menu on megamenu.com, as that shows the available sub menu layouts.

    Regards,
    Tom
