Issue with header fonts

Hi – thanks for this wonderful plug in. Everything works great, but when I try to apply a specific font to Advanced settings / Post/Page Headings Typography, the new font does not show up after I hit publish. It registers as being saved in the google fonts pulldown menu, and I can see the preview, but after publishing, the font I see is still the default font from my theme. I think there is something in my theme overriding this. Do you know if there is a workaround? I have a wordpress genesis child theme. Thanks in advance, it’s driving me nuts!
