Issue with Host? Permalinks? Web.Config?

  • I am trying to get a blog to run in a sub directory of an existing site I took over. Running into a problem that I have a hunch is easy but can’t put my finger on it.

    Blog URL (wordpress): https://ransombrothers.com/blog/
    First Blog Post: https://ransombrothers.com/choosing-the-right-filter/

    I have a hunch it has to do with the web.config (windows server – FML). It is almost like the wordpress blog URL is thinking it is a page in the main directory and throwing an error (homepage is 404 error).

    Can anyone guide me in the right direction? Need to get this blog launched by the weekend. Let me know if you need more info.
