Issue with icons

    I have successfully used Timeline Express on another site no issues.
    On the current site I am running version 1.8.1 of the plugin.
    Have uninstalled and re-installed but same issue.
    Running WordPress version 5.5
    Using Ashe Pro theme version 3.5.9.2
    I have created a number of announcements and when viewed the only icon that displays is at the top of the timeline, no icon displaying for subsequent announcements.
    By way of a test I have created two announcements. At the top of the timeline there is an icon and when clicked it displays the contents of the second announcement in date order.
    Hovering over the timeline vertical bar adjacent to the second announcement it displays in text format the title of the second announcement. Again if this is clicked it displays the content of the second announcement.
    Would welcome any suggestions as how to fix this issue as like the plugin but it is not working in the current environment. Whether its a theme or other plugin compatibility issue I am not sure.

    Went back and tried version 1.5.2 which bombed out with the following message.

    WordPress version 5.5
    Current theme: Ashe Pro (version 3.5.9.2)
