Hi, finally I found a slider extension that really work fine… or almost. I’m sure it’s just a setting but the thing is, the first image display perfectly but the others are weirdly resized on the height and I don’t know why… every image are in the media library the same size exactly. When I’m editing it display correctly but once I publish the changes, the first one is ok, the others not… I’m using Beaver Builder to build my pages. Can you help me please.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

OK, I found something very weird, if the page is not full screen, the images display correctly… but once it return full, all the images except the first one are displayed in shape of a square… Is there a setting that isn’t right… I’m speachless.

Hello – sorry I was away for a long weekend. In which OS and browser do you see this issue? I don’t see it, but it sounds like it could be a CSS issue.

No problem, thanks for your reply. I use Windows 11 with Mozilla Firefox / Google Chrome / Edge and Brave. The same issue appear on Android with Chrome or the Samsung Browser. I have a 24 inch monitor and I got this issue. My collegue use a ultrawide 39 inch monitor and she don’t. Once I move the browser windows or I flip the smartphone, the image return to the right size and stay ok. If I do this for every image of the slideshow, it will show the images in the right size. But if I reload the page, the issue return : the first image has an wide aspect ration (the original one) but the others will be squeeze to be 4:3.

OK, I’ll find a Win 11 machine and check it out. Thanks for the additional info!

I can see the issue with your site. There are two things that could be causing the problem.

    1. Some plugin is adding styles to the images. Do these styles “–smush-placeholder-width: 1033px; –smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 1033/722;” mean anything to you? If it’s a plugin you might try deactivating it and see if that has any effect.
    2. Check the Display Settings on either the Slideshow Settings or General Settings. If those are set funny you can get weird sizes. Unfortunately I can’t upload a screenshot but here are the settings I use:
      • Maximum Width: 0
      • Proportional relationship: 15:8 [that’s what works best for the theme I use but you may want to to try other settings]
      • Slideshow’s height: 650
      • Image behavior: Natural and centered
      • Shrink slideshow’s height when width shrinks: Yes [Good chance this is the one causing your problem]
