Issue with images

    I have two issues relating to images in the app.

    #1 – The image on the splash screen looks distorted. I used a 250px image and I tried adding the below CSS but it doesn’t work.

    .wpappiframesplash {
    background-size: 250px !important;
    }

    #2 – We are using NextGen Gallery and on of the gallery has a thumbnail image liked to the actual image. When clicked, the app redirects to the actual image and oversized that does not fit in the screen. I also added a custom CSS fix for it but still does not work.

    Any advise please.

    Hi

    The splashscreen fill 100% of the screen without distorting the image ratio.

    I suggest you to make more margin to allow a display on more screens.

    For the direct link to images, it’s a know bug and will be fixed shortly.

    Thanks @amauric for the response.

    We have fixed the distorted splash screens by providing a 600×900 image which what the recommended.

    For the issue with the direct link images, do you have an ETA on when will it be fixed?

    On that topic, we have a related question…

    Once we already have an app on the Apple or Google Play stores, and if there’s a issue that has been addressed in the new plugin version, would it be necessary for us to re-submit our apps?

    No ETA but it should be quick.

    When an issue if fixed with a plugin update, no need to republish the app.
