I updated to the latest version, but it looks like there was an issue. The update didn’t go through, and now the plug-in is gone from the directory in the WP Admin. My sliders are gone. If I go and try to download the plug-in again, I get this message: “Installation failed: Destination folder already exists.”

Any thoughts? Update went through fine on my other sites, must’ve been some kind of issue with this one. If I delete the plug-in folder via SFTP will I lose my sliders?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi,

Please try deleting MetaSlider plugin via SFTP. It won’t delete your sliders as you are only deleting the file, not the data from the database.

Once you’ve uploaded back the MetaSlider plugin, your sliders will still show up.

    Hi @maher00071

My guess is that you haven’t update to 3.27.5.

You can try disabling your current version (perhaps via FTP) and then updating to 3.27.5.

Can you please explain how can I try disabling my current version (perhaps via FTP). Becausr I don’t know how to do that.
