Issue with latest WordPress version and Comments itemprop=”discussionURL”

Ever since the recent WordPress Updates, it seems several themes have broke. Anima being one of them. On the Front Page of the blog, it’s showing itemprop=”discussionURL” anywhere there should be a Leave Comment hyperlink.

The only workaround found online was to disable the Comments feature under Post Information -> Meta Information within the Customizer.

When will this be fixed by the Theme owner?
