  • Hi @socialbear

The error message you’re encountering typically appears when you’re trying to create a new account using an email address that’s already linked to an existing account.

Although I understand that you are trying to log in, and it is acting as if it’s signing you up instead, is that correct? Can you please walk us through the steps you did to replicate the problem?

In the meantime, I’d suggest navigating to WooCommerceStatusTools, and doing the following to see if this makes any difference:

    • WooCommerce transients – Clear
    • Expired transients – Clear
    • Clear template cache – Clear

Next, please clear your browser cache and see if this resolves the issue.

    I did but nothing worked.

    This is the issue:
I signed into the website and added a product to the cart. During checkout, it shows the message “An account is already registered with your email address.?Please log in.
When we checked the guest order in Woocommerce >> Setting >> Accounts & Privacy, then customers can start COD orders directly. But not with the account.

    Hello @socialbear,

I understand that when you attempt to place a Cash on Delivery (COD) order as a logged-in customer, you receive a notification stating that an account already exists with your email, correct?

I tried to replicate this both as a customer and guest, and the order went through without any problems.

Could you please make sure this is not a result of a conflict with your theme or another plugin?
    ?
The best way to determine this is to:

    • Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
    • Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
    • Repeat the action that is causing the problem

If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.
