• I sent an email as I usually do to my “English Language” segment over 5000 subscribers. The message is sent but to 3480 addresses.
I checked and the segment is: This segment has 5,831 subscribers. The addresses are good, 2 weeks ago we sent an email (as often happens) to over 5000 subscribers without problems (always using the English language segment).
I use an external smtp with this subscription:
10000 daily sending limit basic x 1 [email protected]

How is this possible and how can I solve it? I need to be able to communicate with the members of our nonprofit organization regularly.

I hope you can help me because from the help of the plugin I was directed to this forum.

    Hi there @4bweb,

I am wondering here if some of your subscribers have been moved to inactive status.

You can check your settings under MailPoet > Settings on the “Advanced” tab. Look for the setting called “Stop sending to inactive subscribers after…”

This setting will automatically move subscribers to “inactive” if the amount of time specified here passes, and they have not opened or clicked on any of your emails in that amount of time.

This setting is to help protect your sending service. Continuing to send email to subscribers who are not engaged in your content makes it more likely to get spam reports, which can affect your online reputation. By stopping sending to those subscribers, you are creating a more active list with subscribers who are more likely to engage with your content.

If your list was initially imported, I would guess that this setting has moved a large number of subscribers who have never engaged in your content since it was imported to inactive. That’s a good thing! You don’t want to keep sending to those people for no reason.

You can try to re-engage those subscribers by creating a re-engagement email:

Or by running a list reconfirm:

If this setting was not enable (i.e. set to “never”) then I do note that you have a paid Agency plan with us, and this entitles you to premium support. You can open a ticket so that we can investigate further:
