Issue with Maps

  • Hi All

    I am having issue with the location map not working. I know my google maps api key works as the maps function work on a test site I have for trying the pro version. On my site I have installed the wp safe mode plugin, but still the maps do not come up only showing location not found.

    What else can I check to resolve this issue

  • i have the same issue, it only worked with 1 location and it refuses the rest. The API key is working on my site as I have it with other plugins.

    Update on this, eventhough I had the API working for others, you need additional settings for Event Manager. I just checked my map settings on the google platform and you need to unrestricted keys (I only had embedded API enabled) and my locations are working now.

    I enabled all following below or you can unrestrict one by one and see what works:

    From the documentation: The libraries you need depend on which features you’ll be using in Events Manager. Here’s a list of the ones you’ll need below and also the optional libraries you might need:

    • Maps Javascript API
    • Places API for Web
    • Geocoding API (required if you use the geolocation field in your search forms)
    • Maps Embed API (required if you chose Embedded Maps as your map type, or as a click action for static maps)
    • Maps Static API (required if you chose the Static Maps as your map type)
