    I am currently using the Mega Menu builder on my WordPress site and have encountered a specific issue related to the use of anchor links within the menu.

    Issue Description:

    The menu functions well overall. However, when I use anchor links for navigation within a single page, I’ve noticed that the menu remains open after clicking on these links.

    The page does scroll to the correct content section as intended, but the menu doesn’t automatically close. It seems to behave as though it’s waiting for a navigation action that takes the user away from the current page.

    Menu Setup:

    Using Mega Menu builder.
    Anchor links are set up for one-page navigation within the menu.

    Desired Outcome:

    I would like the menu to close automatically once an anchor link is clicked and the page has navigated to the corresponding section.
    This is important for a clean and user-friendly navigation experience, especially on mobile devices where the open menu can cover a significant portion of the screen.

    Request:

    Could you provide guidance on how to modify the menu behavior so that it closes upon clicking an anchor link?
    Is there a specific setting or custom JavaScript/CSS that I can implement to achieve this?

    I appreciate your detailed explanation. The ElementsKit Nav widget offers two options for the dropdown menu: “Hover” and “Click” [screenshot]. When using the “Click” option with a one-page scroll, the dropdown will open and scroll to the relevant section. The dropdown will stay open until the next click, which is the expected behavior for the Click toggle.

    To address your concern, please switch to the “Hover” option instead of “Click.” You can refer to this video [link] for guidance. This adjustment should resolve the issue you’re experiencing.
