I’m an admin of my site that’s running MemberPress. Here’s the oddity: if I use User Switching, and switch to a non-admin member, then surf the front end of my site and navigate to a page that has MemberPress-protected members-only content on it, I see the members-only content (which is not correct). HOWEVER, if I completely log out of my site and log in as a non-admin member, I do NOT see the members-only content (which is correct).

So the oddity here is: User Switching works insofar as it does let me log in as another user. But something weird is happening that it isn’t showing me the site exactly the way the other user should see it.

Any ideas or suggestions to try?

I would get in touch with the author of MemberPress and see if they can investigate. That plugin might be doing something unusual with browser cookies or authentication.

MemberPress properly uses wp_signon for user authentication. This issue sounds like a browser caching issue to me.
