• Hi

I have always used another mobile plugin to with your Storefront theme so mobile version views properly for ecommerce stores.

I want to MOVE away from using the 3rd party plugin and just use your Storefront theme instead.

Have always had issues with the ecommerce store NOT showing 2 columns as default in the store on mobile device (as client prefers this), and Ipad to display properly with 3 or 4 columns.

It has been a bit of a frustrating experience in the past, but was hoping things had changed in the newer version of Storefront theme for better viewing for mobiles and tablets (7 inch tablet which reads the mobile coding).

So if someone could possibly provide me with some help /advice would be great on how to achieve a decent view on mobile & 7″ inch tablet on Storefront theme.

    Regards
    Kristin

    Hi there,

Showing two columns on a mobile device using just the Storefront theme is possible with custom CSS. Can you share a link to the site where you’re looking to add that?

    HI

Currently I have the 3rd party mobile plugin that I have been using for years on the live site. I can’t disable that plugin as the website is live, and then everyone would see an awful mobile version of the website if I disabled it until I get the coding correct.

Could you possibly give me some coding that normally would work for the Storefront theme to allow 2 columns for mobile device and I can try that on my test server ?

That would be great if you could.

Are there any great instructions/documentation for your Storefront theme for customisations on mobile devices ?

I have it displaying nicely on PC etc BUT need to fine-tune mobile devices if I disable this 3rd party plugin and ONLY use your Storefront theme for mobile.

    * I am needing to display separate Logo for mobile device
    * I need it to display 2 columns on mobile device
    * I need it to display 3 or 4 columns on an Ipad

Thanks in advance for any help

    Regards

I can add some CSS code to my child theme, if someone could help me with the correct coding for the Storefront theme on mobile device for ecommerce shopping cart.

    Thanks again
