Issue with pages&posts

  • I installed&configured a new blog with a template (properly bought) about 1 month ago, and it worked fine. I didn’t modify&updated anything.

    I received some notification about login errors and I banned 3 or 4 ip (i didn’t verify blog sinec I assumed that attacks were blocked)

    Today I tried to visit the blog and I noticed that the home page was working fine, but pages are not working (404 error). I the dashboard I’m able to see&modify all pages&posts, but they are not working

    I tried:
    – setting pages to private (not working) and re-setting them to visible (not working)
    – creating new page (not working). And the strange thing is that new posts are recognized in the home page (in the “latest news” I see the new post, but clicking on it, I get a 404 error)
    – disabling all plugins (not working… I use jetpack, Better WP Security, All in One SEO Pack, Get The Image, Google Analytics for WordPress, Google XML Sitemaps, Revolution Slider, SB-RSS_feed-plus, WP-PageNavi)

    I also checked my db, and it works fine. However, I’m sure that it was working since 2 weeks ago (I friend of mine downloaded some photos, and these photos are on a page)

    It seems I have a problem with url slugs… But I’m not able to see any page&post neither using the short link, preview, or other.

  • Verify your functions.php file and your header.php.
    Also connect with FTP and view error_log(inside of your theme folder).
    You will find the problem!
