I have a password protected page for subscribers only that I recently discovered is not working properly.

After putting in the password it will go to this link and not load the password protected content

    https://momoutsidethebox.com/wp-login.php?action=postpass

I’ve done some googling and haven’t had any luck resolving the issue. I can’t pin point when it started as my sites still fairly new so had not received any complaints that it wasn’t working. It seems to work in Edge but not firefox or chrome on desktop. On mobile it doesn’t work at all but if i refresh the page it will load the content on android. On Iphone however, it will not load at all.

My theme and plugins are all up to date.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

The request to wp-login.php is supposed to get a Location: response header to route the user back to the original page once the auth cookie had been set. That is apparently not happening. Your site is responding with some unusual headers, likely from your theme or certain plugins. That much is OK, but they might be corrupting the Location: header in the process. Not OK.

Try changing to a twenty* default theme and deactivating all plugins. Password behavior should then be correct. Restore theme and plugins, one at a time, testing after each to identify the module responsible for the trouble.

I wanted to post back letting you know I managed to find the issue. I had started with ezoic ads on my website but due to a number of issues i disabled it. However, my cloudflare account was still integrated with them. I removed the integration and cleared my cache and now the password protected page seems to work fine on android and iphone. I’ve had a couple people test and it’s working fine so something weird with the ezoic integration is what caused this issue.

Just in case anyone else has this issue i thought i’d post what fixed issue for me.

    Thank you

    Melissa
