You can use <!–[wpfcNOT]–> not to cache /contact page. Can you put <!–[wpfcNOT]–> and after doing this can you delete cache?

Thank you… this worked great for the contact page.

Thanks for taking the time to look at this issue.

    Cheers,

Hi – I am having the same issue, but just wondering – where exactly to I paste the <!–[wpfcNOT]–>. Can it just go into an invisible text field on the form page, or does it need to go into a php file somewhere?
    Thanks for the clarification.

Also – just a suggestion – would not a more elegant solution be if WPFC automatically avoids caching any page with a Captcha on it? (Or at least offers that exclusion in the Options?) I can’t think of any reason someone should ever cache a Captcha.

what if the users put the contact form on the sidebar? Then no page is cached.

Hi again themadbaker. I fixed the issue. Can you do the steps below please?

    – Deactive the plugin
    – Delete the plugin
    – Download the plugin again
    – Re-install
    – Delete cache and minified css/Js

    can you inform me please?

Hi – Unfortunately, it is still caching. I have done all the steps – including clearing the cache folder manually between tests, and just comes right back. I will try pasting the code in, but let me know if you try again. Thanks, Chip

Hi – that’s OK for some Contact forms (though mine is already a page installed with the Divi Theme). But what I’m suggesting, is that there may be different page types that will have Captchas, and caching a Captcha defeats the security purpose of having it, to some degree.

Hi – Also please don’t misunderstand – It does work as intended using the code pasted into a text field inside the contact page. I’m just suggesting an idea for improvement – A lot of newbies using WordPress (like me) would enjoy not having to figure out that Captcha problem is even happening. Thanks for the great support and the great plugin!

the page which has contactform7 form is cached? Can you tell me the url please?

Hi – Oh I see the mix-up — my fault. I am not using ContactForm7. I am using a custom page inside a theme. Now I understand, you put together a solution for ContactForm7 – but it doesn’t apply to my custom form. Sorry for the misunderstanding – I am fine with the wpfcNOT code. (I was just suggesting that there are probably many users with Captchas on pages that are being cached, and they don’t even realize that the cached Captcha is offering the same equation all the time.)
