Issue with Remove Original Image Backups

    I finished the Image Optimization process, but when I click on the “Remove Original Image Backups” button, an error occurs: “The site is experiencing technical difficulties. Check the site administrator email inbox for instructions.” Everything is fine on the server side (Veerotech), so I increased the PHP execution time to 200 but I’m getting the same alert few seconds after.

    I want to delete the original data to decrease the storage disk usage and files quota.

    LiteSpeed Cache plugin is really great, I loved it.

    No, just the same page error with this url: …/admin.php?page=lscache-optimization&type=rm_bkup&LSCWP_CTRL=img_optm&LSCWP_NONCE=b7578ac286

    Is there a way to delete it manually using FTP or Cpanel?

    If remove original images to 219k images, that could cause the timeout issue, which we are already aware of.

    Would suggest that just keep current status. We will give a way to make the removal successfully run in a future version, maybe v3.1 or v3.2.

    Is there something I can do on my side? Using cPanel or other option?
    I’m concerned because I’ve reached my server disk quota – Inodes 484,676 / 600,000 (80.78%), probably due to duplicated images (original + optimized).
