Issue with Removing original images

    Hi,

    If I run the “Remove Original Image Backups” function, it runs and says that the process is complete. However, when I head to my media library, all images still have the option of “restore from backup. “

    I’m a little confused about what “Remove Original Image Backups” does and I would like to know of a way to remove the original backups completely.

    I think that option is always show up regardless , please verify in file system if you see xxx.bk.jpg file , these ones with .bk. in middle , are the origin backup

    Sorry I dont understand. How can the original file backup still be restorable if I delete the backup? This has to be stored somewhere…

    no no , I mean that button is always show up there

    and if you have removed the original backup , then if you click that , then it will further remove the webp files.
