• This plugin works really well for standard images, however for sites with retina support (where it replaces the standard definition image with a higher version through javascript), it pulls in the old one. So what happens is that you see the normal image (corrected to crop around the eyes; filename.jpg) for a split second, once the page has finished loading, the javascript then pulls in the higher resolution image ([email protected]) which hasn’t been recropped, which appears the image is ‘jumping’. So on retina screens you end up with the old image.

    It seems the plugin updates the standard definition images, but doesn’t deal with the higher res ones. Is that something you could fix in the next update?
