Issue with Sidebar position

For some reason which I can’t find the sidebar on post pages drops below the post content and moves over to the right a bit. Have a look:

It’s okay on every other page, just the post page is effected. Also as you would have seen if you looked at the above page, in between the header image and the content area there is a strip of the content background. This is really bugging me.. any ideas what could be causing this?
