    Hi,

Since the last update of WooCommerce (version 3.3.5), when a client makes an order on my website, the title of the email that I receive from WooCommerce is: “[{site_title}] New order ({order_number}) – {order_date}” (instead of writing my site title, the order number and the order date).
I don’t know if the clients also receive this strange title in their emails’ titles.

Why do I have this problem and how can I resolve it?

Thank you very much in advance for your quick help.

    Best regards

    Hi @fotske,

You may have some custom email templates associated with your theme, that are outdated and causing trouble.

To test for this, you would temporarily switch to a default theme (Storefront, or Twenty Seventeen) and deactivate all other plugins, and see if the trouble still happens.

You can also take a look on your site admin, at WooCommerce > Status near the very bottom – it will usually list template overrides.

    Hi there @fotske

This error is caused, we believe, with one of the WPML plugins and not WooCommerce core.

I’m going to mark this as resolved as this looks to be due to another plugin – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.

    Thanks,

    Hi,

Yes, it was indeed due to the “WooCommerce Multilingual” plugin by WPML.

    Thanks.
