Issue with translations – WPML and other

Hello there,

We have been facing an issue when using the plugin on a multi-lingual website, where the language switcher is unable to generate the urls for the archive pages of an author in the various languages. We are using WPML as the multi-lingual plugin.
We contacted the WPML support team and after checking the issue, they got back to us saying that it is due to the workflow of the plugin, and offered to work together with you to make the plugin multilingual-ready.

Would it be possible to contact them in order to see how this might be solved? We understand that this is not a common request, but we imagine this is an issue many other users face – as multi-lingual websites are quite common.
