    Good evening,

I’ve been encountering a persistent issue with Twitter cards related to my website. When tweeting with links to my site, the Twitter card is not displaying correctly, showing only the link, as you can verify here.

I’ve sought assistance from my hosting provider for the past three days, but we haven’t been able to resolve the issue. I disabled the LiteSpeed Cache plugin, used the default WordPress theme, and still, the error persists. When validating through the Twitter Card Validator, I receive this error message:

“ERROR: Failed to fetch page due to: HttpConnectionTimeout.”

I am using the latest version of Yoast SEO and the plugin is configured correctly to generate Twitter cards.

My hosting provider disabled the firewall without success.

I appreciate any guidance or suggestions you can provide to resolve this issue.

    Best regards,

    Mauro

    Hello Mauro,

Thanks for reaching out about your Twitter cards. I picked two URLs from your timeline to test and didn’t experience any issues. I have also included screenshots that show what they look like in the tweet composer card validator:

    por-um-gole-a-mais-bruno-e-marrone

    arma-quente-diego-e-victor-hugo

If the error is related to HTTP issues, this isn’t a problem with our plugin but something your web hosting provider or server administrator needs to look into.

    Maybellyne,

Thank you for the prompt response and assistance.

Even after republishing both pages, the cards are still missing for me. When trying to validate page one and page two, I am still encountering the timeout error. As mentioned on the Twitter website, there may be a cache of one week, so I plan to wait and observe for any changes.

My hosting provider is investigating the issue. In their latest communication, they mentioned:

“We have taken the initiative to elevate your support ticket to our advanced team. They will conduct a thorough investigation and diligently work on finding a solution.”

I am awaiting their response with any news.

Regardless of the outcome, I would like to express my gratitude once again for the support provided. Congratulations on being part of such a talented team at Yoast.

    Best regards,

    Mauro
