    Hi! Yahoo did recent updates to their servers, I’m not sure what those updates are but ever since the updates were done I am unable to complete a backup using UpdraftPlus. I have used UpdraftPlus for previous backups on this site fine until now. I deleted and reinstalled and get different error messages such as:

    The attempt to close the zip file returned an error (Unknown: ZipArchive does not return error messages). List of files we were trying to add follows (check their permissions).

    I see a range of other log files as well….

    (When I reinstalled the plugin in gave the error message: Installation failed: Server connection closed Server Connection Closed Description: The server requested closed the connection before the transaction was completed.)

    Hi,

    It appears that the connection gets cut-off.

    The best solution is to manually install UpdraftPls. To do this, manually upload the plugin via FTP. Download a fresh copy of the plugin, unzip and upload to ‘wp-content/plugins’ so it becomes ‘wp-content/plugins/updraftplus’.

    After uploading the files, you can activate the from your WordPress dashboard.
