Issue with users levels

  • Plugin Works great on 3.9.1 WP version but Ive found a very big issue with levels, well, at least that is what it looks like, let me explain.

    For instance, if you have 3 levels in your website: Free,Silver,Gold. The free account can only has got access to free zone, while Silver should have access to Silver zone and besides the Free zone. The same for Gold, it should have access to Gold zone besides the Silver and Free zone. But this is not happening.

    I have an user on my site, let′s say it is the highest level “Gold”, but when I mark in the widget an article to Free users, the Gold user is not able to read it and instead of that forces to that user to change the level.

    This is something that must be fixed.

    On other hands I would like to ask… why dont you guys include some templates?

    This is not a bug, but we are working on multiple membership support like that for version 2.0 which we should be releasing a beta stage for soon. In the meantime, you can use the addon packages plugin to do something similar, or filter the user’s access with the pmpro_has_membership_access filter and check for certain level combinations.

    On other hands I would like to ask… why dont you guys include some templates?

    You can create custom page templates for every front end PMPro page, as well as the emails. Did you have something else in mind?

    Is there anyway of showing the featured image before the excerpts? I would like to show the featured image of every post content blocked.

    That depends on how your theme and page templates are setup. You can always use the_post_thumbnail() in your template files to display the thumbnail anywhere you want (as long as you are in the loop).

    My theme supports “the_post_thumbnail()” function but I dont where to insert the code to make it works. I was trying to include the code into content.php fie and it worked but only for few entrances, there were few of them that they were not displaying the featured image and those entrances, of course, have a featured image.

    I wouldnt like to modify so much your plugin cause after an update I′ll lose all modifications.
