Issue with website restore from backup.

    Hey,

    Trying to restore a website from DreamScape Basic Web Hosting.
    This is what I have so far:
    In Backup (Advanced) Settings I:
    * Check the option of “Enable eco mode for shared hosting”
    * Compress files every 100 MB.
    * PHP script execution timeout for backup 900 seconds
    * PHP memory for backup 512 MB`
    * Changed the PHP max execution time in the php.ini file to 900s
    * Changed the memory limit the php.ini file to 512MB
    * Added the following to .htaccess
    <IfModule Litespeed>
    RewriteEngine On
    RewriteRule .*-[E=noabort:1, E=noconntimeout:1]
    </IfModule>

    On the PHP side I added the Recommendations for the server configuration
    * php max_execution_time 900 seconds
    * php_memory_limit: 512MB at least
    * max_allowed_packet for MySQL: 32 MB

    Thanks for reaching out to us and giving all details about the issue!

    It is recommended that you also try the following WPvivid Settings:

    In Advanced Settings:

    Change ‘PHP script execution timeout for restore’ to 3600s(try 7200s if the error persists)
    Change ‘PHP Memory limit for restoration’ to 512MB
    Save changes and run another restore.

    When performing a restore, make sure to wait for the process to complete and a success/failed message to pop up, and please do not refresh or close the restore page until that.

    Thanks for your update.

    From the latest restore log, we noticed that the restore task was terminated in about 20-30 seconds, our guess is that there are probably some restrictions on the web hosting side, for example, PHP max execution time or other similar settings, that is limiting the php scripts execution time to only 20-30 seconds, which is far from sufficient for the restore task to complete.

    Is there any way you can confirm this with your web host?

    Hey Tony,
    The web host has like a MultiPHP function in their cPanel so I had to change it there.
    Since then I have tried restoring the site twice using 3600 and 7200s and both failing:

    Although it looks like it says 2 minutes or something, the restore task is terminating long after 20-30 seconds.

    Is there a way to fix this or is there a way to do it manually?
    The clients site has been down for many days.

    I am posting the solution here so users who have the same issue can see it:

    After adding the following Litespeed timeout rule to the .htaccess file of the site, the restore successfully completed:

    <IfModule Litespeed>
    RewriteEngine On
    RewriteRule .*-[E=noabort:1, E=noconntimeout:1]
</IfModule>
