    Hi,

I recently migrated from the old graph mailer plugin to this one. I am however having one issue. Sometimes mails from woocommerce are not send.
Specifically the mails to the client (order processing).

Could there be any reason for this?

edit: the debug log does give this error:

    WARN

Wpo\Services\Access_Token_Service::get_app_only_access_token -> App-only access token is not valid:

    04-06-2023 10:43:50.293471

    WARN

edit 2 (if it is relevant): I am also using kadence-woocommerce-email-designer.
The redirect URL in the settings is pointing to: “my site”/wp-admin/options-general.php?page=mail-integration-365-settings

Should I perhaps redo the whole config to try and fix?

Hi @dyin and sorry for my late response!

The difficult part seems to be “sometimes”. This means that the issue may be hard to reproduce.

A few questions, which you hopefully can answer and which may help us to understand the issue:

    • What version do you have installed?
    • Are you sending from a user mailbox or from a shared mailbox or a distribution list?
    • Are some emails sent from a different email address (dictated by the form / plugin / customization)?
    • Do the emails that get lost have attachments e.g. invoices?

There shouldn’t be a need to re-do the whole configuration. If it shows that the plugin is authorized, all should be set for sending emails.

    Thank you for your patience!

    -Marco

PS The latest version allows you to write the plugin’s error log to Azure’s ApplicationInsights, allowing you to create an alert and at the very least be informed right away, when an error occurs with sending of emails. Also, the premium version would also log all emails plus error information (also the ones that did not sent) and allow to (try to) send it again.

    Hey Marco,

I had to rollback to an older version of the site due to an issue with my WordPress 6.2 and for some reason it seems to be working again.
I’m not so sure it is related. I will test things again in the future and post if I find something new.

Allthough I must report that in the backup I activated the old plugin WPO365 | Mail Integration for Office 365 / Outlook
is still installed but not active. Not sure if this has anything to do with it.

Both plugins were on the latest version.

I don’t send any attachments and it is only setup to use one account (main O365) for woocommerce, passwords, contact form (CF7), …

    Hi @dyin

Basically you cannot have two plugins that try to do same thing, namely to send WordPress emails. Therefore you should disable the WPO365 | Mail Integration for Office 365 / Outlook one and then see if the problem re-surfaces. If it does, then please include – once more – the error logged on the plugin’s Debug page (and shown as a WPO365 Health message). I will then look to set up an environment that is similar to yours to see if the problem can be reproduced.

    Thank you for your patience!

@wpo365 No worries. I can only start testing again in july when activity starts to decrease on the site. I hope by that time a few updates of the plugin may improve things :).

If I still have issues I will open a new post
