Issue with WooCommerce Shipping Postcodes

    Hello,
    I work for a brewery. We are having an issue with WooCommerce shipping. No matter what postcode we put in to trial the Shipping, no shipping options are found. This happens despite there being six local postcode districts entered (SG11, SG10, SG9, CM23, CM22, CM21). I try to enter full postcodes in and it does not work. I put a trial full postcode in to the addresses we deliver to and that still does not work. No shipping options are ever found. This is becoming an issue for customers seeking delivery. Does anyone on this platform know how to sort out the issue?

    Hi,
    Thanks for getting back to me.

    The “5 Miles” option is now at the top, and the shipping option still is not being recognised.

    I have disabled all pluginsd and the theme and the problem persists, unfortunately.

    Postcodes look fine. Can you also add the UK to this field to see if that helps?

    We’d also like to take a look at your shipping zone settings. Can you please share a screenshot of your shipping zones (WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping> Shipping zones)?

    Additionally, from your system status, I’ve noticed that your database version doesn’t match the current version of WooCommerce, which could cause retrieving wrong information from the database. I’d recommend making a backup of your site, and updating & verifying database from WooCommerce > Status > Tools.

    Thank you for the screenshot and for letting us know this didn’t resolve the issue. Let’s go ahead with the update to see if this resolves the issue, I’ll be glad to walk you through that process:

    To perform the update please head to your dashboard and hover on the WooCommerce menu on the left-hand side and select “Status”. Once you’ve clicked on Status you should be taken to a page where you can access your status report, at the top of that same page you’ll see different tabs and want to click on “Tools”.

    Once you’ve done the above you should now be on the Tools page for your site where you’ll see a list of different tools and actions you can run, you want to scroll down that list until you see the option to update the database. Click update database and let the process complete, once it is done please check again and let us know the results.

    I understand you have updated your WooCommerce database version. However, looking at your site from my side the shipping issue is still defaulting to the Local Pickup option.

    I also see that you are using the WooCommerce Stripe Payment Gateway and WooCommerce Shipping & Tax plugins from WooCommerce. This makes you eligible for official WooCommerce support through our ticket queue.

    Thank you to Lionel from WC Support – problem was due to not having “Local pickup” as a delivery option on all options which confused the plugin as the immediate resort was to use the whole UK and not be more specific. Free shipping, delivery on boxes (ie custom shipping) and local pickup works fine. Thanks, guys!

    And a little tip to the people who might need to look at this support request for their own website – make sure product weights match too! WC is the store, so make sure all Products on “Products” menu are weighted correctly! With that all good, custom shipping for VAT should work!
