    Hi,

Since the last update of WordPress 5.8 and the update of Avada 7.4.1 (compatible with WP 5.8), I can’t use the Live Edit function of Avada.

I searched where the problem was, and the solution I have is to disable the Lazy Load in EWWW Image Optimizer.
If the Lazy Load checkbox is enabled, when I try to use the Live Edit, I have an endless spinning circle.

I have no error in the javascript console.

I’ve send an email to the Avada team, but I don’t know if they will answer or do something.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hi @ariakan, thanks for the report. I’ve actually been waiting on Avada to get an updated copy for compatibility testing and haven’t heard back from them. The one I have is very old and doesn’t work with WP 5.8 at all.
I’ll check in with them again to see if we can get some progress there. Note, it’s possible that some changed I’ve made in the script code might have fixed it, so if you want to test that out, you can grab the latest copy via the instructions here: https://docs.ewww.io/article/73-update-from-github

*Notably, I reworked our page-builder exclusions to make sure none of the scripts for Lazy Load or JS WebP are loaded on page builder (live edit) areas. But of course, I haven’t been able to verify anything with Avada on that front yet.

    Hi again,
Did the latest release resolve your issues with Avada? If not, let me know and I’ll dig into it further.
