Issue with WP Portfolio

The Astra support team for WP Portfolio have asked me to submit this. I am using Permissions plugin with the portfolio and the pages & posts can be accessed OK when logged in as a subscriber but the results from the portfolio are not being returned. OK with admin.

Subscriber cannot see the portfolio because Portfolio rest API records null for subscriber user on that site. Link
