• Hi,

I just wanted to share that I am currently investigating an issue together with WP Rocket support where the cache pre-loading feature for pages stops working.

When doing some analysis, it looks like WP Rocket preloader tries to pre-cache snippets from WPCode, which – of course – makes no sense.

So, there is some interference with WPCode and WP Rocket seemingly breaking the preload after a scheduled cache-expire.

If you experience similar issues or have some idea how to fix this, please comment here.
Otherwise, I will keep you posted, if I find out more.

    Hi @markisu72,

Thank you for reaching out. The WP Rocket plugin should not cache WPCode snippets as those are marked as not public so there’s no front-facing page to cache.

Are you experiencing the same issue with all the snippets deactivated? It might be an interference caused by the code in one of the snippets.

    Thanks

    Hi @gripgrip ,

I have not tested in that depth yet.
The issue seems to only occur if the cache expire / preload is NOT triggered manually.
On production we have a cache timeout of 10 hrs, thus there I need to wait 10 hrs for one test and with deactivating some scripts, I’d impact the site in general…

I will need to setup a testing environment, but have not done this yet.
But I will do, thanks for the hint.

    Hi @gripgrip ,

same issue with all snippets disabled.
As long as WPCode correctly ignores disabled snippets, we can sort out an interference with one of my scripts.
