Issue with WPML

  • Hello there!

    I’m having some trouble with WPML plugin.
    About one year ago I installed it in a website where WP Hide was already installed and configured. I had no problem till about a month ago, when it bacome impossible to see the “tools” tab in the WPML admin page.
    Every time I try, I get the following message:
    There is a problem connecting to automatic translation. Please check your internet connection and try again in a few minutes. If you continue to see this message, please contact our support team.
    In any case, translation machine seems to keep on working.
    The only way to have that tab back is to disable WP Hide.
    I contacted WPML support but they are not able to do anything, so I tried different WP Hide configuration but nothing changed.
    Any idea how to solve this?

    Hi,
    Which is the relative URL where I can access the WPML Tools tab?
    Did you customize the admin URL?

    Yes, I customized the admin URL. The WPML tools tab is in the admin area, in the WPML section.
    Do you have to login as an administrator in order to see it.

    Hi,
    The thing is I can’t see that Tools tab, regardless of whether WP Hide is active or not. Possibly there is an addon for WPML, or I am just overlooking that. Can you send the relative URL to that ? ( no need to include your domain )
