The translated string “Shipping this product and your current cart contents to %1$s%2$s%3$s costs:” is not working with WPML. I tried setting the translation via po/mo file and it works fine. As soon as I turn on WPML it doesn’t work. I tried translating via String Translations in WPML and it only works when logged in. If logged out, it shows the original English text.
I tested on a test site without any caching and a minimum number of plugins, it simply doesn’t work.

Any suggestions on how to get this fixed?

And the same thing happens with the shipping label. It shows in English instead of the translated language. It seems to not work ok for content loaded via ajax.

Hi @jstneti, thank you for reaching out. Can you please let me know which plugin versions (Shipping Cost on Product Page and WMPL) do you use?

    Kind regards,
    Greg

    Hi Greg,

    Thanks for looking into this.

    WPML 4.6.7
    WPML String Translation 3.2.8
Shipping Cost on Product Page 1.4.4
    WooCommerce 8.2.2
    WooCommerce Multilingual & Multicurrency 5.2.1

I now tested with Loco Translate and that works. But I’m wondering why isn’t it working when translating directly with po/mo files in the languages/plugins/… folder or with String Translation.

Thank you for providing additional information and pointing our attention to this problem. I added this to our backlog and our team will take a closer look at the issues with translating notices.

So, you did not add it to your backlog to take a closer look at it as you wrote in the previous reply? If so, it’s not really solved.
