No! Should I?! I use Autoptimize and WP Fastest Cache if these have to do with something. Also I can note that it was working…
In order to add the link I replaces the ‘s’ with ‘v’ in the urls.

no you shouldn’t, but the support thread you linked to is about LYTE + that plugin, and so does the solution, so that exclusion does not apply to you either.

can you share a URL where the problem (still) occurs and one where you fixed it by changing the youtube-link from httpv to https?

looks like a conflict with elementor indeed. how did you add the video’s?

I added them via the YouTube element of elementor. There is an element that says YouTube video and there is a part in which you can add the link.

How can it be an elementor conflict, since it was working on the begining? Are we sure?

Is there a way to overcome this?

pretty sure, yes; the HTML source shows LYTE is not active on those pages (neither one).

don’t know elementor really, but the solution will likely be replacing the Elementor YouTube elements with a normal text element in which you simply paste the YouTube URL of the video.

yes, that works (had to bypass page caching though, but that’s unrelated).

Ok! Just a question before I procced with the change for every video… Are we sure that this method will not break in the future? I mean, I have to chnage a great dela of articles right now. I hope I do not do the safe in the future.

Can’t promise that; if Elementor would at some point decide to also act on YT-url’s for some reason then they would not be LYTE anymore, nothing I would be able to do about that.
