Issues adding/editing a button link after WordPress 6.6 update

    Hi, suddenly after the latest WordPress version update to 6.6, I cannot add or edit a link on buttons in my website pages. I use the Block Editor.

    The only way I can do it is to add link tags within the code editor.

    The floating toolbar “chain” icon does nothing on clicking on it.

    I have tried it in both Chrome and IE.

    I am using the Twenty Twenty Four Theme.

    Although I have a work around with code edit, I am curious if anyone resolved this in any other way ?

    This problem may be a plugin conflict. Please attempt to deactivate all plugins. If the problem goes away, re-activate them one by one to identify the source of the problem.

    If you can install plugins, install Health Check. On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to deactivate all plugins for you while you’re still logged in without affecting normal visitors to your site.
