    Good Day,

    After the last 2 updates, I cannot edit any of my pages related to Woocommerce. Also have 2 red and LOTS of yellow when I inspect > Console; all of which are related to Elementor on the back-end. The 2 red are something to do with elementor marketing pro, but I’m only using the free version of Elementor Builder… Here’s a few examples:

    Uncaught (in promise) ChunkLoadError: Loading chunk 58 failed.
    (error: https://elementor.com/marketing/……../js/share-buttons.90bff2e73000d4e3f189.bundle.min.js)

    jQuery.Deferred exception: DialogsManager is not defined initDialogsManager@https://elementor.com/marketing….js/app.min.js?ver=1.1.0:1:4591

    Loading failed for the <script> with source “https://elementor.com/marketing/wp-content/plugins/elementor-pro/…..4e3f189.bundle.min.js”.

    I get the grey page with message and tried Safe Mode to no avail. Deactivating plugins, changing Themes, dumping cache, restart Mac & more didn’t fix it. Somewhere I read I needed to go Pro if I wanted to edit WC pages (cart, checkout, etc), which simply cannot be true… Is it?

    Everything is up to date and have more than elementor’s sys. req. Honestly don’t want to rebuild this site that I’m currently revamping to get rid of elementor…

    Please advise. Thanks!

  • Hi,
    My apologies for the long wait.

    Can you please send me a link to your website?

    Also, go to Elementor > Tools on your WordPress dashboard. Click Regenerate CSS.

    Using WC is free itself so it should work normally, there might be a lack of memory or PHP version that may cause issues, we suggest PHP 4 and not 8 as it causes issues with the editor.

    Hi,

    Imagery by Charly

    I’ve tried numerous times to regenerate data; Elementor and EA, no joy. I have plenty of memory, more than most. I’m running PHP 7.3.33, though I didn’t know PHP 4 was used anymore.

    Checking Elementor System Info:

    1. 7 PHP; #0: Elementor\Core\Logger\Manager -> shutdown()
    2. 1 JS; elementorFrontend is not defined
    3. Last Log; `2021-11-22 13:32:12 [info] elementor::elementor_updater Started
    2021-11-22 13:32:12 [info] Elementor/Upgrades – _on_each_version Start
    2021-11-22 13:32:12 [info] Elementor/Upgrades – _on_each_version Finished
    2021-11-22 13:32:12 [info] Elementor data updater process has been completed. [array (
    ‘plugin’ => ‘Elementor’,
    ‘from’ => ‘3.4.3’,
    ‘to’ => ‘3.4.8’,`

    Have tried everything I can think of to no avail. I need to edit the WC pages and Elementor is not allowing it…

    Please advise. Thanks!

    Hi,Since you are an Elementor Pro user, you can open a support ticket at my.elementor.com.

    I’d also suggest you check out our Elementor Community forum, we have created it to connect Elementor users together and share knowledge, my.elementor.com.

    www.ads-software.com rules state that commercial products are not supported here.

    Hi,

    I am NOT an Elementor Pro user. I only have the free version of Elementor and confused that the errors are showing elmentor pro…

    Hi,
    Thank you for the reply.

    I am sorry for the confusion.

    Please contact your hosting and check if they have any firewall preventing the plugin from working.
    Also, increase your PHP to 7.4 and check the pages.

    If you create new pages they do not work as well?

    Hi again,

    No worries it happens.

    I’m now using PHP 7.4.26 and still get the error message below when I try to edit my Checkout page with elementor

    You must call ‘the_content’ function in the current page in order for elementor to work on this page.

    Are you telling me to create a new checkout page to see if that works? There’s no firewall on my host, but I do use WordFence’s firewall.

    Also you need to know that I have connected my cart and checkout pages onto 1 page. That did work for some time prior to the update that rendered the WC pages uneditable and throwing the above message on a gray page. Thanks!

    Hi,
    Thank you for the reply.

    I have found another subject with a similar issue and a solution that might interest you.

    edit your theme (preferably the child theme version), go to “Home Page Page Template” and paste only ” the_content(); ” into the template just before ” get_footer(); “.
    Here’s a screenshot of the fix for anyone else with the same issue. https://prnt.sc/q8jrmg

    Also, please take a look at our guide to solving this type of issues with content not found –

    Let me know if this information helped.

    Hi and thanks for your reply!

    I added the_content(); to a new page-templates.php added to my Child theme. It didn’t work. ??

    Since I just needed to change the Continue Shopping link, I opened WP editor and changed it in Text, then Updated page. Of course that shifted some of the content on the page. geesh…

    Then I clicked on edit in elementor while in WP editor and the page opened! YAY! It now works as it should. Seems going into WP editor and making changes to checkout page is what corrected the issue after I added page-templates.php to my Child theme.

    Thanks again for sticking with me on this! I started rebuilding a new site and really didn’t want to do all the work again at this time. Though that will come in the future without elementor and other plugins, as my site is throwing a lot of warnings in Inspector whereas it didn’t before the update that caused the initial issue…

    Kind Regards,
    Charly
