• Just updated to v.3.9.9 of the Evolve theme and now my front page Feature Boxes are gone and our main menu wraps onto a second line. Moreover, I can’t find anything in the settings to fix these problems.

How do I get my Feature Boxes back on the homepage?
Is there an easy way to adjust the main menu width?

    Thanks in advance!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Well, I found where I could change the padding on main menu items – so I reduced that a touch on the right and got the menu back to a single line in full-size, desktop browser windows.

I’ve found the settings for the Content (Feature) Box themselves….but not how to return them to visibility on the front page.

Hi! In Customizer go to custom frot page builder and enable the content boxes. If is enabled already try to disable and enable it again. Hope it helps

I saw that section earlier and played with it a bit without success. But I went back and tried again.

As they’re each enabled/disabled individually, I disabled all of them, published, then re-enabled all of them, and published again. Unfortunately, no change. I’ve still got my header and slideshow….then straight to the blog posts. No Content Boxes.

Just spotted what I thought MIGHT have been the issue – the “upgrade” left each of my Content Boxes without a selected Font Awesome icon. So I re-selected icons for each and published but still nothing.

any error in the error log? tried enable wp debug to see any errors?

When I turn on debug mode, I see: “Notice: Undefined variable: options in /var/www/org_studentdo/wp-content/plugins/hs-social-media-buttons/inc/front-end-head.php on line 7”

Does that mean anything with regard to the Content Boxes? It’s obviously not a file that I’d be touching…

    Hi,
possibly the problem could be solved, if this plugin is deactivated:

    Best Regards,

@nkatz the error message is related to the mentioned plugin

Deactivating the indicated plugin eliminated the error message but did NOT bring back the Content Boxes.

The client also LOVES having those social media links always available (as opposed to only in the part of the header that disappears when you scroll down the page).

tried enable/disable the content boxes individualy?

    Thread Starter nkatz

    (@nkatz)

I’d tried that earlier. Now I’ve tried it while the HS-Social-Media-Buttons plugin is deactivated.

    Still nothing ??

I would need to see the code…hard to determine the issue on your site ??

Romik84 – Do you need to see specific files? The site resides on our company server – I can’t give you access for security reasons. I could copy and post specific files or copy/zip the entire site (minus the wp-config; it’s about 160MB zipped) and post THAT.

in the theme is theme homepage link wheere you can contact me
