Issues centering pages on iPad/iPhone using Matala theme

I have made a few changes to the matala theme style sheet to customize my blog. It appears fine when viewing it on a desktop/laptop; However, the entire page shifts left and leaves a big white margin on the right-hand side when viewed on my iPhone/iPad. I’ve searched for a solution and cannot find one that works for me. I am new to this so an explanation in layman’s terms would be best. I’ve included a screenshot below for reference.
