• Hello, I have been hard at work trying to get my website up and running the past few days and was making progress until last night when I noticed that lots of the updates I made to my page were not saving when I went to check out the normal version of the webpage both on desktop and mobile. I even disabled all the plugins I have been using but that did nothing too.

Googling the issue told me this issue usually is a result of problems with the cache settings. However, I have cleared my cache settings both within the WordPress settings and my browser settings but the issue still persists. I have no idea what could be causing this and would really appreciate the help.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hello @joseph1594

It’s not clear whether you are saying that your changes are not being saved or simply that you are not seeing them.

If your changes are being saved but you cannot see them it is a cache issue. Have you asked your web hosting company about any server cache settings?

Also try viewing your site using the browser incognito mode. That will force a fresh display of your website content.

I managed to get the issue fixed but ran into the issue again when I attempted to make another change.

I checked on Incognito mode and the issue persists. I also have cleared my caches from the W3 Total Cache plug in and even deactivated it. Neither of these things fixed the issue. The issues are now showing up on both desktop and mobile.

Currently the website only shows “About Me” on my menu section on the header but it should have “About” and a search magnifying glass. But the change from “About Me” to “About” and the addition of the search magnifying glass are not showing up.

Here is a list of the current plug ins I am working with:
    Akismet Anti-Spam
    Classic Editor
    Elementor
    OptinMonster API
    W3 Total Cache
    WP Hide Post
    WordPress Editorial Calendar

And if it helps, the theme I am using is Astra.
