    Hello @academicweek

Thank you for contacting us, the 4 validation issues are due to your theme and a plugin Perfmatters plugins lazy loading features.

The theme issues can be ignored as we already fixed them using the menu toggle

The AMP plugin’s img tags are already lazy loaded so you can disable that feature from Perfmatters plugin settings or contact their plugin support and ask about it.

    We hope this helps!

    Hello,

I have also noticed unused javascript is causing high LCP when checked at page speed insight. Prior to switching the site to AMP standard mode delaying javascript improved the LCP to 1.7s but currently, it is 4.3s.

The below files are causing the LCP, is there a way to delay it for improved scores?

    src/service/url-replacements-impl.js2.

    src/service/action-impl.js2.7?KiB2.1?KiB…src/custom-element.js4.

    src/service/viewport/viewport-impl.js

    src/service/history-impl.js

    Hello @academicweek

Thanks for reaching out. There’s a GitHub issue in relation to AMP scripts being marked as unused in performance tests using PageSpeed Insights. You’ll find out more below on the AMP GitHub repository:
    https://github.com/ampproject/amphtml/issues/28638

Note this isn’t something we can address from our side in AMP plugin, it’s not specific to the AMP plugin. Feel free to keep watch or add any input to that GitHub issue.
