    Hi,

We have uploaded custom font Didot-italic of ttf type and are using that in few posts. Which seems working fine for chrome but not for firefox.

Can you please suggest why this is happenings.

    Thanks.

    Hello,

You might want to convert the font to .woff format using https://www.fontsquirrel.com/tools/webfont-generator

    That should solve your problem.

Let us know if that works for you.

    Hi,

Thanks for your reply. But in Chrome I can see following error in console:

Failed to decode downloaded font: .path to project directory/wp-content/uploads/font-organizer/Didot-Italic.ttf
(index):1 OTS parsing error: cmap: Failed to parse format 4 cmap subtable 0

Please suggest what might be the issue.

    Hello @sabitasahoo.
Sorry for the long waiting, we had some busy days.

I have tested your font on local and live servers and it seems to be working without any errors on all browsers.

After some investigations it seems like this error comes from wrong font path. If you are still having this issues, please consider removing the font via step 5 (manage fonts) and re-uploading it.

Let me know how it goes.
Thank you and sorry for the inconvenience.
