• Hello All,

We are having isses with viewing and pre-viewing courses that we create. From our WordPress page, if we go to LearnPress > Courses, then in there I click on a course I get the page that says, “Oops! That page can’t be found.” and on that same page there is a Search bar under the warning. So I search on the course title, and then it displays the correct course under the search bar. So I click on the course name and it takes me back to the “Oops! That page can’t be found.” page.

We have tried a few different LearnPress versions, like 0.9.2 and 1.0… But same thing happens with both… Maybe its a Permalinks issue, but I am not familiar with Permalinks so I’m not sure where I would start with that…

Another strange thing I noticed is the first time we downloaded the learnpress.zip plugin from thimpress.com, inside the zip file there were 2 separate folders, one called “learnpress” and the other was called “thim-learn-press”, as if there were 2 separate plugins. And when trying to install that zip “as is” we get an error saying something along the lines of, “no valid plugins were found in the zip file”.

But, if I put the “learnpress” folders contents into a separate zip file, as well as the “thim-learn-press” contents into it’s own zip file, I can then install each one individually… So I was really confused by that.

I can share that zip file if someone would like to see it… However, I downloaded a fresh copy of the plugin this morning, which only contained what seemed like one plugin’s contents, instead of having 2 folders which seemed like 2 separate plugins…

Could anyone help us with this? We are having all sorts of difficultues using it…

Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks in Advance,
    Matt

We were finally able to get Permlinks working, so we can now view and preview courses and get to any page we couldn’t get to before… I described the way I fixed Permalinks at the link below:
    https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/permalinks-to-working-for-all-links

However, I am still very confused by the ZIP file for learnpress containing what looks lke 2 separate plugins/folders inside it, making it impossible to install it “as is”… The zip file contained 2 folders, one called “learnpress” and the other called “thim-learn-press”, each containing their own plugin files & directories. Below I will copy and paste the beggingin part of each dir’s readme file.
