Can I please request you to mention what exact issue you faced with categories after updating to WP 5.8?

We have tested this on our end with the latest version of WP and it worked well so we will really appreciate it if you could explain the issue in a bit more detail and I assure you that we will get it resolved if we can replicate it on our end as well.

Also, was the customization that you have done in the functions.php file of your theme related to our plugin as well that stopped working? You can share detail about that as well.

After disabling ur plugin I was able to get Categories working again for also variable products. So variable products wasnt showing even after deleting and recreating the specific category. I’ve also tried it in ‘storefront’ and it didnt work. Im only not sure if this was for all variable products or just new ones i made.
Im using Twenty Fourteen, now the search wasnt working either and after disabling it started to work for Chrome and Firefox i did have to disable another plugin to also get it back to work in Safari
The customization I use is to get my theme to do a ‘product’ search only in wordpress.

Btw I do like this plugin, even I only used it for a few days but is there a way to export its attributes in the standard products export csv features?
If not it will be a bit of a trouble to keep recreating the call for price settings every time I do a store CVS import from our shop system it seems to get lost. Unless you know another way?
