Issues when I try to access wp-admin.

    I have a few problems getting access to wp-admin, the blog had been running for a couple of months without problem. However when I come to access it today I cannit get into wp-admin.

    The error I get is some kind of php redirection error I think.

    Error is:

    404. That’s an error.
    The requested URL /wp-login.php?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.dolcigustocoffeemachine.com%2Fwp-admin%2F&reauth=1 was not found on this server. That’s all we know.

    It looks like something is missing but I have no idea how this might have happened, could anyone shed any light on what’s possibly going on here.

    When I just type the domain I do get the site, it does not have any theme loaded though, not even the default WP theme.

    It would be a starting point to know what is the sequence of files that runs when I type domain/wp-admin, I know index.php run normally when you type domain in but presumably its different when you access wp-admin since the theme is not loaded at this point.

    Any help/advice would be good thanks.

    Assuming your site is dolcigustocoffeemachine.com, the redirection url is both normal & correct. Try re-uploading the wp-admin folder from a fresh download of your version of WordPress.
